Welcome to my blog

​Let me introduce myself! My name is Emma Velásquez Mariucci and  I was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. I studied in an International American High School in Colombia. After graduating in 2019, I attended East China Normal University's intensive Chinese program in Shanghai for a year. I am currently studying International Economics and Management at Bocconi University in Milan. All these experiences have shaped me into who I am: an innovative, conscientious, brave woman who is eager to explore the world and my surroundings. I believe in the power of education, and that the best way to share knowledge is through writing. This is why I started my blog. Here, you will not only find information about myself and my interests, but also about how I analyze and perceive global issues that are affecting the world. This blog is a reflection of all these little ideas and questions that roam through my head constantly. I believe it is also my mission to share with all of you my perspective as a Latin-American young woman who is half Italian and has her heart in China.
